Chairperson's Message

The Department of Islamic Studies is one of the founding department of the rapidly growing University of Loralai. The Department of Islamic Studies at University of Loralai is striving for the recognition as a Centre of Excellence in Pakistan by imparting quality education and research through trained and qualified teaching faculty with focusing on inculcating research base knowledge derived from the Holy Quran and Hadith and at the same time fully aware of the contemporary world and the unparallel challenges it poses for the Muslim Ummah. The basic aim of the department is to promote research base Islamic literacy blended with “Seerah Building” among the scholars of the day in a methodical manner, to facilitate the intellectual and spiritual development of Muslims through meaningful discourse. With this aim in view, the Department of Islamic Studies Programs are unique in a way that not only provide the research base and substantive knowledge in Islamic Studies rather it also expands beyond these basic building blocks to critical thinking embedded with the elements of a true Muslim character.

BS Islamic Studies - 4 Years (8 Semesters)

Eligibility criteria

Intermediate (FA/FSc) or equivalent qualification with a minimum of second division from a recognized Institution/Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education to be eligible for admission in BS program.

Holders of Wifaq ul Madaris Al-Arabia or other similar certificates will be required to provide an Equivalence Certificate issued by IBCC.
