
Growing Green: University of Loralai's GYM Club Inspires Youth to Embrace Environmental Conservation
The Green Youth Movement (GYM), a part of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, is making remarkable strides in its mission to sensitize and mobilize Pakistani youth towards environmental conservation and eco-friendly behavior.
The University of Lotralai’s GYM Club, in collaboration with the university’s administration, took significant steps forward last week by organizing both a Plantation Drive and a Membership Drive, both centered around the theme of agriculture and forestry.
Honorable dignitaries, including the University’s Vice Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Dr. Ehsan Ullah Kakar, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Adil Zaman Kasi, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Social Sciences, and Management Sciences, Prof. Dr. Syed Haider Shah, Director of Quality Enhancement, Mr. Aslam Zaib, Director of Information Technology, Engr. Dr. Fahad Lateef, Focal Person of the GYM Club at UoLi, Engr. Atta Ullah Khan, along with members of the oversight committee and students, actively participated in these initiatives.
The Plantation Drive saw the university’s campus become greener as trees were planted throughout the premises. Simultaneously, the Membership Drive witnessed remarkable success, with more than 120 students signing up for the GYM Club.
