Commerce is whole system of an economy that constitutes an environment for the business. The system includes legal, economic, political, social, cultural and technological system that are in operation in any country. Thus, commerce is a system or an environment that aﬀects the business prospects of an economy or a naon-state.
The Department of Commerce started functioning since 2009, when the University of Loralai was working as Sub-Campus of University of Baluchistan. In the very beginning, the department of commerce started two years B.Com program. The Loralai Campus was declared a full-ﬂedged independent University in October 2012 as university of Loralai. University of Loralai has passed out four batches of B.com successfully without any delay.
Department of Commerce at moment oﬀers program of B.Com and M.Com. At present the department of commerce under is working eﬃciently to produce an educated and skilled youth that will serve the business and commerce sector of the country.
I feel ecstatic to introduce you to Department of Commerce. The Department of Commerce aspires to be a space for students to come together and embark on a journey of lifelong learning. The Department imparts skills to students to make them knowledgeable, socially responsible and also future influencers. The Department intends to impart knowledge through a closed knit family of highly competent, determined and passionate faculty members, always going beyond their duty to stimulate and motivate the students to achieve their dreams. As a Head of the Department, I provide academic leadership to maintain academic standards. With our distinct student-centered teaching-learning methodology, our students will be able to face challenges of life with our holistic approach in teaching and learning encouraging students to indulge in extracurricular activities to shape them as leaders of tomorrow. BS Commerce - 4 Years (8 Semesters)
Intermediate (FA/ FSC/ICOM/A-levels) or equivalent qualification with a minimum of second division (45% Marks or Grade C in case of semester system of examinations) from a recognized Institution/Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education to be eligible for admission in BS program.
Holders of A level and other similar certificates will be required to provide an Equivalence Certificate issued by IBCC
